Maybe most noticeable within the “after” is the kitchen’s new forest theme. The cupboards are painted a wealthy inexperienced tone (the colour is Selva, by British paint model Fired Earth), and the partitions and once-wood-paneled dishwasher are coated in a vibrant leafy wallpaper from Graham & Brown.

“I’m fairly adept at papering and portray, so it was largely easy,” Nicola says.

She loves the way in which the inexperienced and gold complement one another completely and make for a welcoming, playful kitchen.“The daylight bounces off the gold, and the inexperienced leads the attention out to the backyard past,” Nicola says. (To not point out, her indoor backyard is beautiful, too!)
