Uncover the Wallpaper* information to Salone del Cellular 2023 and Milan Design Week
For the previous decade, David Lopez Quincoces’ work for Dwelling Divani has helped outline the corporate’s robust aesthetic, with a sequence of designs that contribute to the sense of graphic refinement that pervades its catalogues.
The final piece on this collaboration is the ‘Ark’ armchair, a sculptural furnishings design, a part of a group that mixes aesthetic innovation with the corporate’s storied furnishings custom.

‘The concept was to create an armchair-object, virtually like a graphic signal, the place the curved line meets the straight line defining a profile, a seat and a backrest,’ says the designer. He initially conceived the design for Six Gallery, his personal inventive laboratory in collaboration with Fanny Bauer Grung, one half of his Quincoces-Drago design studio.
The chair’s modern strategy is softened by the wood surfaces, providing an expressive interpretation to the composition of straight and curved traces in distinction with the minimalist steel legs. It’s a chunk of furnishings outlined by its silhouette that can contribute to Dwelling Divani’s ‘Antithetic Aesthetic’ theme for Salone del Cellular and Fuorisalone 2023.
