Gaetano Pesce designed the craziest Trullo you’ve ever seen

‘Be Vero, Be Pescetrullo’ is the brand new marketing campaign from Italian design model Vero, a celebration of Pesce’s radical dwelling by a photographic collection that additionally presents its collections of furnishings and objects.

Vero, launched in 2022, is the brainchild of Pasquale Apollonio, and its designs – by a roster of thrilling rising abilities – are made in Galatina, an hour south of Pesce’s architectural masterpiece. With this photographic collection, the model reconnects with its roots.

‘With this mission, Vero explores the intersection of radical structure and up to date design – the place the lightness of concepts meets the load of matter,’ reads a notice introducing the gathering. ‘On this suspended, nearly surreal environment, Vero’s items enter into dialogue with the house-as-artwork, by a play of supplies, textures, and types.’

The gathering, outlined by daring silhouettes and hues, contains ceramic objects by Venice-based Zaven, Frederik Paulsen’s wavy chair, Cara Davide’s volumes-turned-furniture, and Federica Elmo’s wriggly mirrors. Pesce’s personal mantra for the home neatly encapsulates the model’s id: ‘Be Pescetrulli’, an invite ‘to irregularity, to free id, and to the transformation of thought into area’.
