Is sleeping a pleasure? Do they speak of their sleep? Do they dream? What would they like for breakfast?
The 27 sleepers reward Calle with a uncooked intimacy. They’re captured deep in sleep, toes flung out from below the covers, or caught on waking, startled by her pictures, Calle’s voyeurist detective talents softened by the vulnerability of the sleeping.
