After months of hypothesis and hearsay, it has been confirmed this morning that Jonathan Anderson is the brand new inventive director of Dior Males, succeeding Kim Jones, who exited the Parisian home in January.
Anderson arrives at Dior from Loewe, after a transformative 11-year tenure as inventive director of the home’s males’s and womenswear strains. The information was introduced this morning by Bernard Arnault, chairman of LVMH, on the luxurious conglomerate’s shareholder assembly.

The Northern Irish designer rose to prominence along with his eponymous London-based label JW Anderson, becoming a member of Loewe in 2013. Reimagining the Spanish home’s visible identification, alongside M/M Paris, he would make Loewe into certainly one of trend’s main gamers, know for an idiosyncratic, oftentimes surreal strategy to design and elevation of craft (later collections would come with components from balloon-shaped heels to hammered-metal angel wings).
