A tremendous gastronomic proposal deserves a becoming deal with. Within the coronary heart of Milan’s Quadrilatero della Moda, Langosteria Montenapoleone now crowns the highest three flooring of the not too long ago unveiled Fendi Palazzo, housed in a Nineteen Thirties constructing initially designed by Italian architect Emilio Lancia.

The opening marks a homecoming for the Langosteria group, a mainstay within the metropolis’s culinary scene since its first opening in Through Savona eighteen years in the past. Following just a few years of worldwide growth, with the debut at Cheval Blanc Paris in 2021 and an anticipated opening in St. Moritz in 2023, the group is again in its cherished dwelling turf. ‘It is a mission that deepens its reference to town and its most loyal visitors,’ Enrico Buonocore, Founder and CEO of Langosteria, tells Wallpaper*.

Just like the transformation of the Lancia Palazzo, the design of this stately multi-level eating vacation spot has been conceptualised by the Fendi Structure Division, which sought to convey the nice and cozy feeling of gradual, romantic journey. The overarching design language evokes the construction and symmetry of the constructing’s Rationalist previous by means of the recurrent use of Venetian blinds and a hot-air balloon motif.

On the fifth flooring, the Langosteria restaurant accommodates 120 indoor seats and 40 outside. Eighteen giant home windows bathe the interiors in pure mild, whereas the model’s signature lobster crimson punctuates the house. Teeming with tactility, canaletto and Italian walnut form the woodwork of the bevelled flooring, whereas travertine clads stone surfaces, and brass pops in accents. The eating space is kitted out in Murano-glass Venini wall lamps, customized ‘Limousine’ mahogany wooden chairs, and leather-based banquettes.

The ground under will quickly welcome Pepe, a brand new idea by the group centred on convivial counter-style Italian eating, whereas the one above homes Langosteria Ally’s Bar, geared up with a terrace overlooking town skyline and a non-public eating room. All through, an open-kitchen format attracts visitors into the rhythm of service.

In accordance with the workforce, Langosteria Montenapoleone ‘speaks Milanese with a world accent.’ This resonates not solely within the inside design but in addition within the menu. Beloved dishes corresponding to Pappa al Pomodoro and Blue Lobster Nature headline the choices, whereas new creations like Amberjack tartare in panzanella, Crimson tuna carpaccio with eggplant and candied tomatoes, and Smoked Rigatoni with Scorpion fish are poised to turn into new favourites.
