Main artists create mind sculptures in help of Parkinson’s UK

Established and rising worldwide artists have joined forces for ‘Me, My Mind and I’, a brand new exhibition of mind sculptures to be exhibited and auctioned in help of Parkinson’s UK, supported by The Public sale Collective and Christie’s.

The ‘Me, My Mind and I’ present will run at Koppel X in Piccadilly Circus from 28-30 October and would be the first time the sculptures are proven publicly after some debuted at The Different Artwork Truthful in 2021.

Featured artists embody Rob and Nick Carter, Tracey Emin, Abigail Fallis, Conrad Shawcross, Gavin Turk and Nick Veasey. The design of the life-size mind sculpture was initially conceived by theatrical results artist Schoony, who created fabricated brains as a clean canvas for collaborating artists; they had been requested to contemplate what their mind means to them and create an authentic paintings in response. 

Alex Echo, who was recognized with Parkinson’s in early 2020, can also be among the many featured artists. ‘I hope my mind sculpture, Tremor, will create a visible illustration of what it is prefer to dwell with Parkinson’s. It has been tough, however once I’m doing artwork, time disappears. Parkinson’s disappears. Worries disappear. Artwork saves my life on daily basis and has for 42 years,’ he says.

The mind sculptures might be auctioned on Wednesday 9 November 2022 At Christie’s London and also will be live-streamed through The Public sale Collective, the place the viewing room is now dwell. All cash raised will go in the direction of Parkinson’s UK’s important analysis into new therapies and a remedy for the illness.
