New Italian Embassy emblem bridges Italian and British icons

The Italian Embassy in London has partnered with Istituto Marangoni on a brand new emblem and model identification for Casa Italia – the brand new headquarters that unites the Embassy of Italy, the Italian Commerce Company, and the Italian Cultural Institute.

The brand new emblem and model identification have been conceived by visible design scholar Jamilya Orak, who received a scholar design competitors, led by Istituto Marangoni London, which concerned responding to a high-profile, real-world institutional temporary.

Orak’s design options two keys that unite to type a bridge between Italy and the UK. The design nods to the Italian structure of Roman aqueducts and the iconography of the London Underground to create a emblem that symbolises cultural connection.
