One Domino Sq. in Williamsburg is Annabelle Selldorf’s first residential skyscraper. With its launch, the New York-based architect (and principal of her eponymous studio) applies the pared-down magnificence and mix of minimalism and class which can be signatures of her work, spanning artwork galleries reminiscent of Hauser & Wirth’s twenty second Avenue, residential buildings reminiscent of 42 Crosby Avenue in SoHo, and the excessive rise housing typology.

Commissioned by Two Bushes Administration, a Brooklyn-based, family-owned real-estate growth agency, One Domino Sq. is situated proper on the Williamsburg waterfront, on the location of the previous Domino Sugar Manufacturing facility, and presents breathtaking views of Williamsburg Bridge. The brand new constructing is straight away recognisable due to its iridescent, porcelain-clad façades, designed to work together with pure gentle to imagine a dynamic and ever-changing presence on town’s skyline.
