Taken from the November 2024 problem of Wallpaper* (on worldwide newsstands now), sculptural fall vogue meets a line-up of up to date vases, ceramics and vessels, their undulating shapes and intriguing surfaces echoing the season’s tactile temper.

There’s Esther Palmer’s twisting, wheel-thrown Terra Incanta sequence (2023), displayed alongside an equally totemic look from Daniel Roseberry’s Schiaparelli; the striped floor of Johannes Nagel’s Feldlinien/Schwarz #14 (2022) grasped towards a near-matching Y/Undertaking costume by Glenn Martens; or the sculptural line of a Victoria Beckham robe lain subsequent to Janet Ann Strains’ Unknown #12 (2023), which the artist says is ‘profoundly summary, troublesome to understand and outline… a mysterious abstraction’.
