Contrasting tones and attention-stealing types mark the newest collaboration between rug design studio Flooring Story and India-born, London-based textile designer Kangan Arora. Two new collections, ‘Cosmic Test’ and Falling Shadows’, have been launched by the studio, the graphic, vibrant rugs all hand-knotted, woven or tufted.
The discharge coincides with Flooring Story’s first standalone showroom and studio opening in Hackney. The brand new areas had been revealed throughout London Design Pageant 2022 and are meant to play host to a spread of occasions, workshops and collaborations – planting the seed for a wave of floor-based design staples.

The model prides itself on the collaborative nature of its rug designs, and has a large providing, largely as a result of array of creatives it has labored with for the reason that firm’s conception in 2009.
