Usually, Italian outerwear model Moncler may be most related to windswept peaks and powdered slopes – in any case, it has outfitted mountain climbers and Winter Olympians, and hosted vertiginous runway exhibits at ski resorts St Moritz, Aspen and Courchevel (the latter was staged amid a flurry of snow at Europe’s highest airport).
However, launching this week, Moncler needs to show all this on its head with a brand new marketing campaign titled ‘Have a Puffy Summer season’, reimagining its signature quilted puffers as a collection of vibrant inflatables which can be arriving at Moncler shops around the globe (there may also be a particular pop-up at 10 Corso Como in Milan subsequent week, coinciding with the arrival of Salone del Cell 2026, 20-26 April, seeing outsized tentacles emerge from its well-known façade).

These ‘puffy mascots’ span a wide range of underwater creatures, from lobsters and seahorses to whales and octopi (becoming a member of them is a pink flamingo as the only real land-dweller). Arriving in a wide range of daring hues, they recall the model’s signature outerwear, that includes a ‘pocket’ and signature Moncler badge. They even function protagonists of a brand new marketing campaign, starring the Irish actor Jamie Dornan, alongside a solid of fashions, and have been created by set designer Andy Hillman.
The summer season assortment itself takes Moncler’s signature ‘puffiness’ and reimagines it in ultra-lightweight iterations, from ‘pillowy, multi-dimensional, light-as-air outerwear’ to layers designed to be added or eliminated because the climate adjustments (as such, it appears befitting for summertime hikes and outside pursuits – a nod in direction of Moncler’s adventurous roots). In the meantime, floral motifs and a daring palette – matching the colors of the mascots – add to the gathering’s uplifting temper.

Alongside the pop-up at 10 Corso Como, the inflatables will seem in Seoul (one other big octopus will take over the outside of a particular area within the metropolis’s Seongsu district), whereas additional installations will happen throughout China, in addition to in Tokyo, Miami, Paris and London (the final takes over Moncler’s Bond Road handle). ‘Acquainted seaside creatures, they embody the seasonal temper: daring, buoyant and superbly puffy,’ say Moncler.
