This previous April, at Milan Design Week 2026, onlookers hovered outdoors of 10 Corso Como, the place an infinite octopus – paying homage to blow-up pool toys – had stretched its tentacles across the façade of the Carla Sozzani-founded idea retailer.

One of many week’s extra memorable sights, it heralded the arrival of Moncler’s summer season assortment, which runs with the tagline ‘Have a Puffy Summer time’. Certainly, these inflatable animals (in varied sizes) popped up the world over, from London’s Bond Road retailer to a pop-up in Seoul.
